Chicago-based Consumer Health-Tech Startup Will Double in Size in 2019

Milwaukee, Wisc. March 18, 2019 – Calcium, the world’s first healthcare platform to give consumers unprecedented control over their healthcare information, announces the opening of its Milwaukee office.

Calcium believes accessing your health data and score should be as easy as accessing your credit score. Calcium, with headquarters in Chicago, also plans to double its workforce in 2019.

Calcium officially occupies the new office, on the third floor of a remodeled factory in Walker’s Point — in the heart of Milwaukee, near Marquette University and Lake Michigan. The space promotes a collaborative start-up environment with open space and private offices and conference rooms. The building is LEED Certified Silver.

“We’re excited to be a part of Milwaukee’s bustling downtown,” says Terrence Ryan, Calcium CEO and Founding Partner. “Milwaukee contains talent and tech resources needed to keep building our platform. This Milwaukee office allows us to grow our business and our Midwest team.” Ryan sees positive future collaborations between the Chicago HQ and the Milwaukee office.

Currently, Calcium employs 20 people in Wisconsin. The start-up is creating a secure and private platform for consumers to regain ownership of all their own health data. Calcium launches spring of 2019.
